Tom Tiffany hits Evers vetoes to paint contrast with Democratic field

(Milwaukee Journal Sentinel) – Republican candidate for governor Tom Tiffany is highlighting policies recently vetoed by Gov. Tony Evers in an effort to “paint a clear contrast” with Democrats heading toward this year’s midterm election.

Tiffany, who represents the state’s 7th Congressional District, held a news conference outside the state Capitol on April 8, the day after a blowout victory for Democrats in the state’s technically nonpartisan state Supreme Court election, which liberal Justice-elect Chris Taylor won by a 20-point margin.
